2024 Consolidated Grants Process

2024 Consolidated Grant Process

Background

PRTPO is responsible for reviewing and ranking the Consolidated Grant applications that WSDOT receives in its biennial call for projects. Proposals are evaluated by PRTPO for their support of the region’s Human Services Transportation Plan. PRTPO’s project rankings confer bonus points that are added to project scores in this statewide competitive funding process. PRTPO’s recommendation is but one input WSDOT will consider in developing its Consolidated Grants funding recommendations to the Legislature. WSDOT received 12 Consolidated Grants applications from service providers in the Peninsula Region in the 2024 process for PRTPO to evaluate and rank.

The PRTPO Technical Advisory Committee conducted a work session on November 21st to evaluate and rank the projects. All twelve projects were found to be consistent with the HSTP and assigned a ranking grade. Project details are below. PRTPO has available this funding cycle a total of (3) As, (6) Bs, and (7) Cs to assign to projects. You can find the recommendation on project ranking received by the Executive Board here.

The Executive Board concurred with the TAC recommendation when it met on December 20th. The Board sent its formal recommendation to WSDOT regarding project ranking. The Board also amended all ranked projects into the Human Services Transportation Plan.
